One of the strategic tasks of the Russian economy is its structural transformation based on the development of science-intensive industries. High-tech industries are modern industries that produce products based on the latest achievements of science and technology; therefore, the labor market is in an increasing demand for specialists with functional skills of organizers of activities aimed to create high-tech products and ensure their development and production.
The relevance of and high demand in the Management of knowledge-intensive industries master’s program determines the necessity to prepare a new category of specialists; those who are able to effectively solve the problems of organizing and managing industrial and technological sustainability, especially when introducing new types of products. The educational program combines engineering training with the knowledge of strategic and tactical planning process management and the organization of industrial production of various types (single, serial, and mass) using up-to-date information and telecommunication technologies.
The acquired knowledge allows graduates to analyze, structure and coordinate any business processes directly relating to the production of science-intensive products, as well as to the implementation of the supply and marketing functions of the enterprise.
