15.04.04 Automation of production processes and facilities

Upon graduation, students of this program will be able to develop the architecture of automation systems; to develop requirements specifications and design projects for automated process control systems; to develop requirements specifications for non-standard process automation systems; to design individual functional components of production process control systems; to build mathematical models of control systems; to make use of automated design systems for analysis and synthesis; to program and debug SCADA project subsystems; to conduct research in order to design and improve structures and processes at industrial enterprises forming part of an integrated data environment.

Students receive theoretical instruction and practical training in the field of creation and operational maintenance of automated process control systems based on PLC, SCADA and MES hardware for various industries.
Students have access to modern training laboratories equipped with PLCs by Siemens (S7-200, S7-300, S7-1500) and OMRON (CJ1M, CJ1H, NJ301), and with industrial Symanitron and Cisco network equipment.
