12.03.05 Laser technology and laser techniques

This area of instruction covers the methods of designing, developing, and operating laser optoelectronic devices, systems and technology units of various uses; students learn to develop software and perform computer modeling of laser optoelectronic devices and systems.

As part of this program, students master the methods of designing, developing, and operating laser optoelectronic devices, systems and engineering units of various uses; they learn to develop software and perform computer modeling of laser optoelectronic devices and systems. Having completed the program, they are able to develop and design new laser-based systems, to operate existing hardware, and to handle optical materials. Students that follow the program can refine their skills and competences with state-of-the-art equipment; they undergo practical training and are to complete a qualifying graduation project under the supervision of their core departments.
