This area of instruction is designed to train specialists in the field of nanotechnologies and microsystems engineering, the development foundation of the modern information technology sector. Students are instructed in physics, quantum mechanics, materials science, nanostructured materials, and the physical foundations of micro- and nanosystems engineering.

Students receive instruction in nano- and microsystem materials and devices, appliances and units on their basis, nanoelectronic technologies, nanodiagnostic methods, equipment for the synthesis, diagnostics and testing of nano- and microsystem materials and components.
