An off-site round table discussion "Opportunities and tools of FBA EAC in the field of international academic and technical cooperation" was held at MIREA – Russian Technological University

On April 7, the plenary session of the Russian scientific and technical conference with international participation "Innovative technologies in electronics and instrument engineering" was organized by the Institute of Physics and Technology (IPT), MIREA – Russian Technological University on the campus at 20 Stromynka Street. An off-site round table discussion of the Committee on International Scientific Technical Cooperation of the Financial and Business Association of Eurasian Cooperation (FBA EAC) on the topic "Opportunities and tools of the FBA EAC in international academic and technical cooperation" was held as part of this event.
The round table discussion was held in an on- and off-line mode and was moderated by Professor V.S. Kondratenko, Head of the Department, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Chairman of the Committee for International Scientific and Technical Cooperation of the FBA EAC, Advisor to the Rector's Office of MIREA – Russian Technological University. The meeting was attended by the representatives of the FBA EAC Committee on International Scientific and Technical Cooperation, the administration and employees of MIREA – Russian Technological University, Russian and foreign scientists, representatives of business circles of Russia, the United Arab Emirates, Taiwan, India, South Korea, and Belarus.

A.V. Ragutkin, Vice Rector for Innovative Development of MIREA – Russian Technological University, addressed the participants of the plenary meeting of the RNTC IPT – 2021 and the round table with a welcoming speech.  He highly appreciated the format of the FBA EAC events at the University site, spoke about the potential, programs, partners and development plans of MIREA – Russian Technological University. The speaker emphasized that cooperation between the University and the Association would have a great future and the areas for the implementation of joint projects in the field of youth science, the commercialization of university developments, the use of university resources for joint development and promotion of innovations were already obvious. Completing his speech A.V. Ragutkin made specific proposals to develop cooperation for the resolution to be approved at the round table discussion.

A.N. Tkachuk, President of the FBA EAC,  President of the Rustitan Group of Companies, spoke about the structure and partners of the association, their experience and opportunities for implementing the projects not only in the countries of the Eurasian community, but also on the African continent and in the Middle East. The speaker also informed the participants about the committees newly created in the FBA EAC: Committee on international scientific and technical cooperation headed by Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor V.S. Kondratenko, and  Committee on strategic development, chaired by Professor D.A. Panasenko. The speaker expressed the hope that the new structures would create an effective system for the implementation of investment projects in the Russian and international markets. He also highly appreciated the potential of the University and its partners and expressed confidence in the development of fruitful mutually beneficial cooperation between the FBA EAC and MIREA – Russian Technological University. 

Within the framework of the round table discussion program, Professor V.S. Kondratenko, Chairman of the ISTC FBA EAC Committee, Advisor to the MIREA – Russian Technological University administration, Head of the Department, Doctor of Technical Sciences, emphasized that international cooperation is an effective tool for bringing technologies and developments to the world level, for the implementation of promising investment projects. A.A. Ishchenko, Ph.D., Chairman of the All-Russia Society of Rationalizers and Inventors (VOIR), Deputy of the 6th State Duma of the Russian Federation also spoke about the potential and uniqueness of the Russian developments. He pointed out the importance of the development of international research and technical cooperation and international integration for the All-Russian Society of Inventors and Rationalizers and its members. At the end of his speech, A.A. Ishchenko announced the decision of the VOIR Central Council to award V.S. Kondratenko a medal "For Merit in Invention and Innovation" and personally handed it to him. D.A. Panasenko, Chairman of the Strategic Development Committee of the FBA EAC, informed the participants of the round table discussion about the opening opportunities to raise new technologies and high-tech products to the world level. In his report “The FBA MENA Company in the Sharjah Scientific Research Technological and Innovation Park as an effective research and investment platform for promoting innovative projects and attracting investments” D.A. Panasenko spoke about the creation of a mechanism for interaction with the largest technopark, invented and currently developing in the Emirate of Sharjah, the United Arab Emirates and the implementation of international investment projects on the basis of its infrastructure.
Deepak Lomba, a scientist, businessperson, and politician of India, shared his strategic assessments of promising areas for the development of high technologies in the world and the possibilities of Russian-Indian cooperation for their implementation, in particular, in the field of materials science and IT. He underscored that Russia and India currently have favorable conditions to develop scientific and technical cooperation and to intensify innovative activities on the part of Russian high-tech startups. 

O.A. Vaschenko, Director of the Department, spoke about successes in fulfilling the state order and invited the participants of the round table to use the potential of scientific developments, the holding's infrastructure, including foreign divisions, for the implementation of joint international projects.
