College students visit JSC “106th Experimental Optics-Mechanical Plant”

On May 26, Olga V. Kniga, Head of the Instrument Engineering and Information Technologies College, Ekaterina O. Nun, First Deputy, 3-year students of specialty 12.02.05 "Optical and Optical-Electronic Devices and Systems" under the leadership of lecturers Marina G. Nemkevich and Sergey A. Minochkin visited JSC “106th Experimental Optics-Mechanical Plant”.

The foreman Igor E. Kustov and technologist Vera D. Sukhinina guided an excursion around the plant shops. The joint-stock company "106th Experimental Optics-Mechanical Plant" is a successfully operating machine-building enterprise with a full profile production cycle – from procuring operations to climatic tests of the finished goods, focused on release of both prototypes and serial products for the benefit of the Russian and foreign customers.

Enjoying the warm, friendly atmosphere of the meeting the students listened to the story about production technologies, watched the equipment, asked questions to the staff of the enterprise. The administration of the College thanks Boris M. Buylov, Deputy CEO, Chief Engineer, for the high level of the organization of the meeting.
