On October 6, the Convention of French language teachers was held organized by the French Embassy in Russia and Campus France, a government organization working to promote French education abroad. The Convention was dedicated to university cooperation.
This annual event is usually attended by delegations from French educational institutions. This time, the University of Clermont Auvergne, Paris Polytechnic Institute, the University of Bordeaux Montaigne made presentations on education and training opportunities in their organizations in an online format. Representatives of Campus France spoke about the opening enrollment for scholarship programs in France for Russian students and teachers.
The Convention was attended by representatives of various Russian higher education institutions from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Samara, Yekaterinburg, Vladivostok and 55 more cities of Russia. The program of the Convention also included presentations by the Russian students studying on the programs at the moment in France. They talked about laboratory work, leisure activities and immersion in local culture.
The employees of the International Relations Department of RTU MIREA participated in an online meeting and with special attention considered the possibilities and proposals of French universities for cooperation with Russian universities in engineering, mathematics, and information technologies.
