RDR 2020/21 Superfinal starts at RTU MIREA

On January 16, in Moscow, on the premises of the RTU MIREA sports complex, 16 pilots will compete for the title of Champion of Russia in drone racing of the RDR 20/21 season. The event was organized with the support of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence of RTU MIREA.

The final championship is the result of two most difficult seasons of the RDR drone league 2020 and 2021. Several hundred pilots across the country have completed a total of about 50 stages and competitions.

With the assistance of the All-Russian League of Drones RDR, RTU MIREA is developing its own e-sports site, as well as a training ground for training and educating new engineers and UAV operators.

For the RDR Superfinal, a huge indoor sports arena with an area of more than 4,000 m² will be used to house a dozen and a half bright LED space structures that make up a single 3D racing track for drones.

Pilots will have to overcome all obstacles at a speed and fly to the finish line first. So, round after round, the participants will approach the finals, where the champion of Russia in drone racing of the 2020/21 season will be determined.

The start of the online broadcast of the drone race on January 16 at 17:00. For more details see the links:
