RTU MIREA held a webinar on the system of international relations

On April 11, a webinar Science and the system of international relations was held in one of the RTU MIREA buildings. The webinar is an integral part of a large project Synthesis of public diplomacy and modern technologies as a new trend in international relations, which is implemented by the IMEMO Center for Foreign Policy Cooperation named after Y.M. Primakov and with the support of the Presidential Grants Fund. The project partners are the Gorchakov Fund, the IMEMO named after E.M. Primakov, Federal State Budget Educational Institution of Higher Education "MIREA - Russian Technological University".
At the webinar, experts exchanged views on the semantics of the term scientific diplomacy and the role of academic foundations and agencies in its promotion, discussed the Russian and foreign experience regarding the impact of scientific cooperation on various aspects of international relations, had a Q@A session with the audience.
The speakers were Pierre-Bruno Ruffini, Professor at the Faculty of International Relations at the University of Le Havre (France); Tagir Abdul-Khamidovich Aushev, Head of the Project Office for the Support and Implementation of the Strategy for the Scientific and Technological Development of the Russian Federation, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences; Alexander Nikolaevich Sharov, Head of the Information and Analytical Department of the Russian Foundation for Fundamental Research, Ph.D. Ivan Vladimirovich Danilin, Head of the Department of Science and Innovations, IMEMO RAS named after E.M. Primakov, Candidate of Political Sciences.
