Between February 18 and 20, representatives of RTU MIREA took part in the 19th Education and Career international specialized exhibition for schoolchildren, applicants, students and parents which was held in Minsk, the Republic of Belarus. RTU MIREA was represented by the delegation members I.S. Solunova, Deputy First Vice Rector, and E.A. Slyozkina, Deputy Director of the Institute of International Education. More than 30 universities from Russia and over 50 educational institutions from Belarus took part in the exhibition.
It is the first time that the exhibition demonstrated the stands of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science and the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo (Federal Agency for Affairs of the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Residing Abroad and International Humanitarian Co-Operation) in the Republic of Belarus – the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Minsk (RCSC). Eduard Feliksovich Krustkaln, Head of the RCSC had a series of working meetings with representatives of universities of the Russian Federation where they discussed possible formats of cooperation and mapped out a plan for implementation of joint projects.
Within three days, over 11,000 people from Minsk, Vitebsk, Brest, Gomel, Grodno, Mogilev attended the exhibition. The RTU MIREA stand evoked great interest among applicants planning to continue their studies in Russia. Everyone could personally talk to the representatives of the University, ask questions, and get all the necessary information about the rules of admission, conditions of study, and areas of training.
