Within a month, from May 25 to June 19, the Institute of International Education and the International Relations Department staff participated in six online exhibitions. Four of them, Anglo-Africa 1, Franco-Africa 1, CIS 1 and CIS 2, were organized by the Association of Eastern European Universities, while the other two, International Education (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan) and International Education (Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine) were held under the guidance of the Begin Group international company.
In total, over 14,000 visitors from 17 countries from abroad (Kenya, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Cameroon, Congo, etc.) and 11 neighboring countries (Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, etc.) were registered at six online exhibitions. Over 4,000 people visited the RTU MIREA on-line stand.
Within the framework of online exhibitions, the staff and the lecturers of the Institute of International Education made presentations about the University; the number of participants at such events exceeded 1,500 people. During the broadcasts, the Institute informed the public about the undergraduate and graduate programs popular among foreign students; visitors were offered information about the specifics of the admissions procedure to RTU MIREA in 2020.
Throughout the exhibition, the University representatives in an online chat format responded to over 800 requests from foreign applicants and their parents. Participants in online sessions asked questions about areas of study where foreign citizens could be admitted, possibilities to study on a budgetary basis, the living conditions in dormitories, and the training programs at the Pre-university Training Department for foreign citizens.
