RTU MIREA Professor Wins Presidential Grant

Roman Vyacheslavovich Sundeyev, PhD in Physics and Mathematics, staff lecturer at the Department of Nanoelectronics of the Physics and Technology Institute, won the 2020 Competition to receive grants from the President of the Russian Federation which is aimed at the state support of young Russian scientists - candidates of sciences (PhDs). The grant was awarded in the Physics and Astronomy field of knowledge.
Competitions for Presidential Grants for the state support of young Russian PhD and DSc scientists are held annually by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation together with the Council on Grants of the President of the Russian Federation. Russian research and educational organizations are participating in the competition. Grants are allocated for a two- year period to fund basic and applied research.
In 2019, 180 candidates and doctors of sciences (PhDs and DScs) from the Central
Federal District of Russia became winners of the Presidential Grants Competition.
