RTU MIREA will hold a meeting of the Council on Youth Affairs of the CIS Member States

Being a core organization of the CIS member states for working with young people,
RTU MIREA was charged by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation with the preparation of the meeting of the Council for Youth Affairs of the CIS member states and the Youth Inter-parliamentary Assembly of the CIS member states.

The meeting is to be held on May 30-31 in Kazan. On the first day, a joint session is to take place where Marina Aleksandrovna Borovskaya, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, and Damir Fattakhov, Minister of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, are invited to participate. The participants will discuss the implementation of the Strategy for International Youth Cooperation of the CIS Member States for the period of up to 2020 and the plans for the period of up to 2030.

The meeting is to continue on the second day: the participants will discuss the 100 Ideas for the CIS project, expanding cooperation, and developing youth entrepreneurship. There is a separate issue on the agenda to be discussed: On the implementation of the Council’s decisions on the activities of the basic organization of the CIS member states on work with young people. Stanislav Alekseevich Kudzh, Head of the core organization of the CIS member states for the work with young people, Rector of the RTU MIREA is to be the key-note speaker.
