Students of the Department of Organizational and Personnel Work in Government Bodies of the Institute of Management Technologies made impressive presentations at two scientific and practical conferences.

At the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Railway transport and technologies" (RTT – 2021) held on November 24 on the premises of the Ural State University of Railways, at the session of the "Natural, Social and Human Sciences in the Service of Transport" section, Irina Sokolova, a 3rd year students of the Human Resource Management made a most interesting presentation. It was entitled “Modern HR Trends (Based on the Crystal Pyramid Award)” and focused on the analysis of the professional and social projects of Russian Railways implemented in 2020. The material offered was highly appreciated by the conference participants.

On November 27, Kristina Kuznetsova and Irina Sokolova, students of RTU MIREA, spoke at the VII International Scientific Student Conference "Human Resource Management in the Global World". The competition was organized by Voronezh State University and MIREA – Russian Technological University. A students’ team of RTU MIREA demonstrated a video to the conference participants as part of the "Human Resource Management in the World of Cinema" competition.

The presentations of our students had a pronounced practical focus and were based on the analysis of materials obtained during the participation in professional summits and congresses, as well as internships at major enterprises of our country. In total, more than 30 people spoke at the conference.

At the end of the conference, Irina Sokolova's presentation was awarded a 1st degree diploma, and Kristina Kuznetsova’s – got a 2nd degree diploma. Our student Maria Berezina took the third place at the conference Olympiad. The video of the students of the Department proved to be the best in the nomination "How difficult it is to be a leader!"

Participation of students in conferences helps them to better understand the content of their future activities, and to specialize in specific areas of their profession before they actually start their working careers.
