The Institute of International Education of RTU MIREA took part in the exhibition “Russian Education. Tashkent – 2023”

From September 22 to 23, employees of RTU MIREA Irina S. Solunova, Deputy First Vice-Rector, and Elena A. Slezkina, Deputy Director of the Institute of International Education, took part in the International Exhibition-Fair “Russian Education. Tashkent – 2023” held on the premises of the MGIMO branch in Tashkent.

The exhibition was organized by the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of Uzbekistan together with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the support of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Uzbekistan. 53 metropolitan and regional universities of Russia took part in the exhibition-fair.

At the opening ceremony, Oleg Malginov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Pavel Shevtsov, Deputy Head of Rossotrudnichestvo, Shakhlokhon Turdikulova, Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of Uzbekistan spoke to the guests of the exhibition.

High school students and their parents could personally communicate with representatives of RTU MIREA, get familiarized with the educational programs of the University, learn about the conditions for admission to RTU MIREA within the framework of the Rossotrudnichestvo quota, the rules of admission and deadlines for submitting documents. The most in-demand and popular areas of study at RTU MIREA, as well as the unique opportunities that the University provides to its students, were brought to the attention of the applicants.

In addition, representatives of RTU MIREA held a number of on-site presentation events in three secondary schools in Tashkent, and also visited the Russian Cultural Center of Uzbekistan where they made a presentation of the University and discussed the prospects for further cooperation in the field of education in order to promote the RTU MIREA brand in the educational market of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
