The RTU MIREA students reached the 2nd round of the International Mathematics Olympiad.

On March 6, the RTU MIREA students took part in the 1st round of the Open International Student Internet Olympiad in mathematics in the academic year of 2019/2020.

This year, seventy 1st to 4th year students of the Institute of Cybernetics and the Institute of Innovative Technologies and Public Administration got registered for the 1st round.
The round lasted 180 minutes and consisted of 16 tasks in various sections of mathematics.
According to the results of the Olympiad’s 1st round, the students listed below passed on to the 2nd round:

Specialization area (profile) with the in-depth study of the discipline:
• Vladimir Borodin - 3rd year student of the Institute of Cybernetics
• Victor Volkov and Ibrahim Idrisov - 2nd year students of the Institute of Cybernetics

Specialization area (profile) "Engineering and Technologies":
• Pavel Lapkin - 2nd year student of the Institute of Cybernetics
• Anton Kazarin and Andrey Matyash - 1st year students of the Institute of Cybernetics

Specialization area (profile) "Economics and Management":
• Fatima Idrisova, Daria Chernyavskaya and Andrey Yakovlev - students of the Institute of Innovative Technologies and Public Administration
