The students of the Institute of Information Technology have been successfully selected to participate in JunctionX Barcelona
26.03.2020
JunctionX is a global, world-famous community that organizes the most ambitious, large-scale, exciting, and interesting hackathons. Not everyone is able to find a way to such an event: applications and requests to participate in hackathons pass several stages of selection, and only the most experienced and talented developers get a chance to take the test and try their luck in the proposed competitive tracks.
The RTU MIREA students participate in JunctionX hackathons every year, and even this year the pandemic has not affected the competitive spirit of the laboratory staff of the Institute of Information Technology. The RealityShift and RealityTeam are the two teams that have brought RTU MIREA many victories, awards, and prizes. Now they are ready to compete again for the JunctionX Barcelona prize.
⠀
Back in early March, the students of the University filed their applications for the event, and most recently they received a positive response. This means that the JunctionX Barcelona award will be added to the awards collection of JunctionX Tokyo and JunctionX Budapest.
⠀
The current international situation is certainly introducing changes to the plans, therefore, the hackathon will be held online between April 17 and 19. Holding a hackathon in this format does not at all diminish its importance, and the young people will do their utmost to demonstrate their best skills in the major 2020 spring competition.
