Volunteer students’ departure to recreation facility “Scarlet Sails” to prepare for summer volunteer projects

On May 26-28, a group of the University students had a training course for volunteer expeditions on the “Scarlet Sails” base. The students had an extensive program of camp life training: they set up tents, cleaned the territory of the camp, prepared lodges for the summer season, made fire, and got acquainted with the participants of the expedition.

Within summer months the students will take part in volunteer projects in the Altai, Baikal, Kaliningrad, Khakassia. Such trips are an excellent opportunity for young people to strengthen such important qualities as courage, determination, commitment, self-control, mutual aid and organization.
