A.S. Sigov, President of RTU MIREA, was granted the title of Honorary Professor of Qingdao University, China

Alexander S. Sigov, President of RTU MIREA, paid an official visit to the University of Qingdao in China. At a special ceremony organized in the course of the visit Alexander S. Sigov was conferred the title of Honorary Professor of Qingdao. Qingdao University, with 4,000 employees and 46,000 students, is the largest university in Shandong. It consists of 22 colleges and offers 94 specialties related to literature, history, philosophy, natural sciences, law, economics, engineering and other areas. During the visit, issues of cooperation between RTU MIREA and Qingdao University in the field of science and education were discussed. Particular attention was given to the implementation of joint research projects, as well as the development of academic mobility programs. Upon the results of the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Qingdao University and RTU MIREA. Apart from the participation in official meetings, Alexander S. Sigov made a presentation at the Sino-Russian Symposium on Intellectual Bioengineering and Nanoscience 2019.
