  • Double Degree Programs

Joint double degree programs are implemented and developed within the framework of the master's degree in engineering, natural and economic sciences.

Students have an opportunity to study for one or two years at one of the foreign partner’s universities. The training ends with the preparation and defense of the thesis. The graduate of the program receives two diplomas – that of RTU MIREA and a diploma of a foreign university.

Candidates have to go through a competitive selection; representatives of a foreign partner university take part in the work of the selection committee. As a rule, students of the third year of the Specialist’s program and the fourth year of the Bachelor’s program are admitted to the competition.

The main criteria for the participation in the double degree programs are the cumulative GPA and foreign language proficiency. Training is organized either in English or in the language of the host country.

In case of successful selection, the student is sent to a foreign university. Education under the double degree program is completely free, with the exception of the costs on air travel, accommodation, etc., which the student pays himself.

For the period of study, a place is provided in a comfortable dormitory on the campus of a foreign university. It is possible to receive a scholarship.
