Dormitories

The campus of the Federal State Educational Budgetary Institution of Higher Education “MIREA – Russian Technological University” has a number of student dormitories for nonresident students, postgraduates, doctoral students, and trainees.
Foreign students live in dormitories 1 and 5.
The cost of accommodation ranges from 863 rubles to 5,289 rubles per month.

Dormitory 1 is located at the address: Moscow, 86 Vernadsky Avenue, bldg. 1 (the nearest metro station is Yugo-Zapadnaya).

The living space of the dormitory is 8,359.6 sq.m.
The dormitory caters for 1,161 people. It is a 14-storey panel building.
It is a block-type dormitory with separate rooms forming small apartments (2 rooms each) with a separate sanitary unit and a shower room. The kitchen is for the common use of those residing on the same floor.

The dormitory is equipped with a video surveillance system (CCTV), and a fire alarm.
Each room has a wardrobe, a bed, a bedside table, a shelf, a desk, a chair, a couple of 220V sockets, the bedding, a mattress, a pillow, a blanket, a bedspread, and the bed linen.
The dormitory has a room for self-study, a guest room, a bicycle parking, a drawing room, a library, an art studio, a dance room and the Internet network.

Dormitory 5 is located at the address: Moscow, 36 11th Parkovaya St. (the nearest metro station is Pervomayskaya).

The living space of the dormitory is 6,433.1 sq.m.
The dormitory caters for 800 people. It is a block-type building.

The block type dormitory has separate rooms organized in small apartments (blocks of 2 rooms each) with a separate sanitary unit and a shower room. There are two kitchens on each floor.
The dormitory is equipped with the access control and management system, and the voice notification system operated in Russian; video surveillance system; and a fire alarm.
Each room has a wardrobe, a bed, a bedside table, a shelf, a writing desk, 220V sockets, the bedding, a mattress (90x200 cm), a pillow (70x70 cm), a blanket (150x200 cm), the bed linen, and a bedspread.
The dormitory has a dining room, a room for self-study, a guest room, a recreation room, a storage room, a laundry room, an ironing room, a gym, an Internet network, a bicycle parking and a room for drying clothes.

In order to ensure the safety of students in the dormitories, there is access control, and 24-hour video surveillance.
The dormitories have automatic fire alarms.
All premises are equipped with fire extinguishers.
A new type of a smoke exhaust system was installed.
Access to the territory of dormitories is not allowed without an ID.
