A student from the Institute of Information Technologies took the third place in the finals of the “Start the Game” competition

On March 4, the results of the finals of the “Start the Game” competition, a unique event to find and develop talent in the gaming industry, were announced. Students of the Institute of Information Technologies annually take part in this competition, demonstrating and improving their competencies in the field of creating games and multimedia content.

In the four tracks of the competition, out of almost 29 thousand participants under the age of 18, 160 were selected for the finals, and out of more than 42 thousand participants over the age of 18, 240 were selected.

Dmitry Sergeevich Pashkov, student of the Software Engineering direction, took third place in the Unity Developer direction among participants over the age of 18. Dmitry was pleased to note the annually growing level of requirements for the finalists’ competencies, as well as the opportunity to work in the advanced professional environment of Unity developers. He posted his project on a social network as a clear achievement, which earned him a prize.
