A team of RTU MIREA students took first place in the VII All-Russian Student Team Olympiad in Mathematics

On March 17, the VII All-Russian Student Team Olympiad in Mathematics was held at the Moscow Polytechnic University.

In total, 286 students and cadets from 25 civilian and military universities took part in the Olympiad, of which 175 people from 15 universities participated full-time (offline), the rest – remotely (online).

According to the rules of the Olympiad, RTU MIREA was represented by two teams – a team of freshmen (seven students) and a team of senior students (eight students).

As a result of the competition, the University's freshman team took first place.

The greatest contribution to the team’s victory was made by students Alexander Pogosov (INBO-30-23 group), Ilya Mizanov (KMBO-01-23 group), Konstantin Solin (KRBO-01-23 group), and Vladislav Minakov (KMBO-01-23 group).

The team of senior students took sixth place.

The best in the team were Alexander Ablitsyn (group KMBO-01-22), Alexey Bolotov (group KMBO-06-22), Andrey Ishutin (group KMBO-01-20).

Especially in the team of senior students, it is necessary to note Yaroslav Belyaev (group KMBO-02-22), who scored 79 points out of 80 possible, thus taking second place in the absolute personal ranking.
