A TV bridge was held between RTU MIREA and LA Gran Columbia University

On May 24, within the framework of the 4th international scientific and technical conference the session of geographic information systems section was held at the RTU MIREA.
The session was held in the teleconference format, and for several hours RTU MIREA and the University of La Gran Colombia (Universidad La Gran Colombia Armenia) kept communicating.
The students and the staff of the two universities made presentations on topical issues relating to the use of geo-information technologies in solving problems of territorial management, environmental monitoring, and prospects for the development of the industry.
Presentations were delivered and discussed in Russian, English and Spanish.
RTU MIREA is particularly grateful to Irina Sergeevna Solunova, Deputy First Vice Rector, Veronica Yuryevna Dvurechenskaya, staff member of the International Relations Office, Larios Salazar Lorene Patricia from Colombia and Masias Sizoff, students from Guatemala, for their invaluable assistance in organizing and conducting the session.
