Delegation of National Chao Tong University, Taiwan visits RTU MIREA

The MIREA - Russian Technological University was visited by a delegation of the Chao Tong National University (Taiwan) consisting of Chan Edward I, Vice Rector and Dean of the International College of Semiconductor Technology, Lin Yue-Ching, Researcher of the Materials Science and Engineering Department, and Arthur Useynov, Associate Professor of the International College of Semiconductor Technology.

They met A.S. Sigov, President of the RTU MIREA, A.V. Ragutkin, Vice-Rector for Innovative Development, and I.S. Solunova, Deputy First Vice-Rector, to discuss topical issues and prospects for cooperation in science and education.

The representatives of the Chao Tong National University presented research projects carried out in Taiwan University to the professors, undergraduates and graduate students of the RTU MIREA. Many developments aroused great interest among the participants. Thus, the International College of Semiconductor Technology and Engineering offers joint research in the following areas: THz technology based on optical and electrical approaches; 5G Internet; study of the evolution of the semiconductor process, material characteristics, LED electronics; temperature imbalance instabilities and interface traps; time-dependent dielectric breakdowns; designs of integrated circuits, etc.

Joint research and implementation of academic exchange programs are priority areas for cooperation between the two universities. The specialists of the RTU MIREA International Relations Office are ready to provide information support to those who are interested in scientific cooperation and training or internships at the National Chao Tun University.
