Delegation of RTU MIREA is on internship for youth specialists in Astana

On December 10 — 12, in Astana, the Republic of Kazakhstan, an internship was held for youth specialists from regions of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Russian delegation included the representatives who did the distance course «Organization of work with youth in the CIS countries» from Vladimir, Kaliningrad, Kirov regions, Moscow and Moscow region, Novosibirsk, Penza, St. Petersburg, Sochi, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The RTU MIREA was represented by Viktoria Olinchuk, the head of the delegation, Head of the Department for Support of the Educational Process of the Youth Policy and International Relations Institute, and members of the MIREA Student Union. On the part of Kazakhstan, 20 people took part in the internship. The internship in Astana was organized by the Youth Research Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Since 2016, the center has been a partner of the RTU MIREA.

The objectives of the event were to provide interaction in the field of organizing personnel training in the direction «Working with Youth», improving the qualifications of youth specialists, studying the best practices of youth policy and interaction of youth organizations and government agencies of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the development of a network of advanced training for specialists in the field of work with young people. The program included official meetings with the leaders of various institutions of the state youth policy of Kazakhstan — resource centers and republican organizations such as: the Research Center «Youth» of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the club «Zhas Kanat», the republican youth organization «Zharasym» at the Assembly people of Kazakhstan, Palace of schoolchildren of Astana.

At each site, the participants could get acquainted with the activities of the organizations, ask questions and share experience.

The presentation of the report «Youth of Kazakhstan — 2018» and the Coordination Agency presentation on the project for the youth corps development took place in the «Youth» center.

On December 12, the participants met with representatives of the state youth policy institutes of the Akmola region, Borovoe. According to the results of the event, the trainees got the Internship Certificates and Advanced Training Certificates «Organization of work with young people in the CIS countries».

In addition to the work program, the guests went on an excursion to the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and a trip to the Abylay Khan’ places, Borovoye.
