Delegation of Tsinghua National University visits MIREA

A delegation from Taiwan visited the Russian Technological University. The members of the delegation were Fu Zhao-Ming, Director of the Science and Technology Department of Moscow Representative Office of the Taipei-Moscow Coordination Commission for Economic and Cultural Cooperation; Prof. Yen-chih Huang, Director of the Institute of Photonics and the Photonics Research Center of Tsinghua National University; Prof. Hi-ping Ma, Head of the Electrical Engineering Department of the National Tsinghua University, and Prof. Yao-vin Hong, Director of the Communication Technology Institute of the National Tsinghua University.

The representatives of the National Tsinghua University inspected several laboratories of the RTU MIREA. Their workers and young scientists showed their colleagues some projects and developments in the field of robotics, materials creating technologies, etc.

Later, the delegation met with the directors of the RTU MIREA Institutes to discuss the prospects for the development of exchange programs for students and young scientists. The negotiations were attended by A.S. Sigov, President of the RTU MIREA; V.V. Kuznetsov, Director of the Physics Technology Institute; A.S. Zuyev, Director of the Information Technology Institute; А.М. Romanov, Assistant Teacher of the Control Problems Department of the Cybernetics Institute and D.I. Galustov, Head of the International Relations Office.

During the meeting the parties agreed to sign the Memorandum of Understanding and the Agreement on academic exchanges between the RTU MIREA and the Tsinghua National University.
