Employees of the Institute of Information Technologies now enjoy the opportunity to be freely certified and get the status of teachers of the Huawei Academy of Information and Network Technologies, and the students – the opportunity to take courses in advanced digital telecommunications technologies for free, also with the subsequent free certification.
It is worth mentioning that the Huawei Academy of Information and Network Technologies was opened on the basis of the Institute of Information Technologies of RTU MIREA in March 2021.
In the first semester of the 2021/2022 academic year, the students of the Institute, upon the results of competitive selection, completed additional free training in the HCIA-Datacom course (Data transmission technologies) – three groups of 25 people, and in the HCIA-AI (Artificial Intelligence) course - two groups of 25 people.
In the second semester of the 2021/2022 academic year, four groups were formed on a competitive basis for the HCIA-AI (Artificial Intelligence) course of 25 people each, and one group of 30 students for the HCIA-WLAN (Wireless LAN Technologies) course. In addition, without competitive selection, all third-year students of the Institute of Information Technologies will take the HCIA-Storage course (Data Storage Technologies) within the framework of the disciplines of the basic part of the curricula.
With the increasing popularity of such courses and the demand for specialists in operating equipment and developing technological solutions from Huawei, the Institute of Information Technologies has increased the teaching staff of the Academy to respectively increase the number of students for additional training and students who receive education free of charge.
The employees of the Institute received the following certificates of course teachers/trainers:
• HCIA-AI (Artificial Intelligence) - 2 people
• HCIA-WLAN (Wireless LAN Technology) - 1 person
• HCIA-Storage (Data storage technologies) - 2 people
At the same time, an employee certified as a teacher of the HCIA-WLAN course has scored a record number of points gaining 912 out of 1000 possible points. To successfully pass the certification exam, it is enough to score 600 points, and a result of more than 900 points was achieved by 1% of teachers certified in Russia and 7-10% of employees of enterprises.
We wish the staff and the students of the Institute of Information Technologies success in further development and improvement of training courses by Huawei, one of the leading technology partners of RTU MIREA!
