The team of the Institute of Information Technologies won the track of the Junction Connected international hackathon

From November 6 to 8, the final stage of the largest international online Junction Connected hackathon was held bringing together over 1,500 participants from almost 30 countries of the world, who, as part of their teams, developed more than 250 solutions for the 14 competitive tracks of the event

6 teams from the RTU MIREA Institute of Information Technologies participated in the competition but only two of them managed to achieve success! 

The team with the SkySea project won the Children Pain Distraction Challenge for Helsinki University Hospital track and took the prize of €2,000. The team members are:

  • Igor Sokolovsky
The team with the VRTherapy project entered the TOP-10 of the best hackathon teams, but, unfortunately, did not become an absolute winner. The team members are:
  • Artemy Matchin
  • Marina Bakanova
  • Nikita Novakov
  • Alexander Levandrovsky
