IIT students and staff received thanks and prizes from Samsung Electronics

On February 17, the faculty and the students of the Institute of Information Technologies, the winners in the third annual interuniversity competition of projects of graduates of Samsung IT Academy educational programs, received thanks and prizes from Samsung Electronics.

• Anton Nikolayevich Mironov, senior lecturer of the Department of Mathematical Support and Standardization of Information Technologies, was awarded a prize for fruitful cooperation and high level of training of students in the Internet of Things track.
• Pavel Valerievich Stepanov, assistant professor of the Department of corporate information systems, also got an award for fruitful cooperation and high level of training of students in the Mobile Development track.
• Alexander Levandrovsky received an award for the victory in the Samsung Special Nomination.
• Danila Ostapenko, Nikita Ostapenko and Nikita Tumanov were awarded prizes for the second place in the Mobile Development track.
• Vladislav Sakharov was awarded a prize for the victory in the Viewers’ Choice nomination.

For the victory in the University of the Year nomination on behalf of RTU MIREA, the prizes were received by Andrey Sergeevich Zuev, Director of the Institute of Information Technologies. Two interactive displays – Samsung Flip 2 WM85R – will be installed after the completion of the repairs in the new classrooms of the Department of Mathematical Support and Standardization of Information Technologies.

The event was held with the account of the current security measures, with a small number of guests invited.
