Institute of International Education of MIREA – Russian Technological University took part in an educational online marathon in 8 countries of Europe and Asia

Between April 19 and April 30, 2021, the Institute of International Education of MIREA – Russian Technological University took part in a series of educational exhibitions of Russian universities – I am going to study in Russia and For knowledge I go to Russia, which were held with the support of the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad And International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo).

The goal of the project is to promote Russian vocational education and attract nationals and compatriots from foreign countries to study in Russia.

Such countries as Vietnam, Syria, Bangladesh and Japan participated in the project I am going to Study in Russia. For Knowledge I go to Russia project was held in Hungary, Greece, Slovakia and Germany. In total, representatives of 57 Russian universities took part in the events. The total number of those involved in the entire cycle of exhibitions exceeded 5,000 people.

I.S. Solunova, Deputy First Vice Rector and E.A. Slezkina, Deputy Director of the Institute of International Education gave presentations and informed future applicants about the infrastructure of the University and the unique opportunities that RTU MIREA provides to its students, as well as educational programs and the specifics of admission of foreign nationals. Issues relating to admission, entrance examinations, visa support, adaptation and living conditions of foreign students in Russia evoked the greatest interest among foreign visitors willing to get education in Russia.
