Institute of International Education RTU MIREA participated in the project "The Russian language as a tool of professional mobility: traditions and innovations"

Within the framework of the international forum "The Russian language as a tool of professional mobility: traditions and innovations" a number of online events were held in the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Kazakhstan corresponding to the implementation of the government program "Scientific and methodological, methodological and personnel support of teaching the Russian language and the languages of the peoples of the Russian Federation".

On the premises of the Russian-Armenian University, for instance, a round-table discussion "Language and time: ways of professional development" was organized and a conference "Sharing experience, educating and inspiring" was held at the Study Innovations International Educational Holding and the Kokzhiek-Horizon Publishing House in Almaty.

The forum discussed issues of language security and language dynamics; educational volunteering which is a sphere of voluntary activity allowing to provide educational services to teachers free of charge, organize and conduct master classes, organize scientific interchange, excursions, Olympiads, and consultations. They also talked about a variety of technologies for organizing and conducting educational events in remote format in order to involve a large number of those willing to obtain specific knowledge, as well as examples of promoting and popularizing pedagogical (educational) values, where the Russian language provides the most diverse opportunities for intellectual and cultural development, career and professional growth.

720 people took part in the forum representing 27 countries, such as Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Hungary, Georgia, Denmark, Latvia, Norway, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Kazakhstan, China, the Federal Republic of Germany, India, Spain, Italy, Estonia and others.

At the international forum "Russian language as a tool of professional mobility: traditions and innovations" in the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Kazakhstan, RTU MIREA was represented by Elena Nikolaevna Tarasova, head of the Department of Russian (as a foreign language) of the Institute of International Education. She acted as moderator in the laboratory of pedagogical skills "Time of pedagogical discoveries" and made a key-note presentation "Methodological ways of practical application of different types of homonyms in teaching Russian as a foreign language."
