In the period between October 14 and 24, representatives of the Institute of International Education and the Department of International Relations took part in the XXII International Exhibition “Education and Profession – 2022”, held in four cities of Uzbekistan: Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara and Urgench. The event was organized by the My Fair Company with the support of the Agency for Youth Affairs of Uzbekistan and the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The exhibition was attended by 32 universities from Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, the USA, Turkey and South Korea. The number of visitors to the exhibition in four cities amounted to more than 5,000 people.
Throughout the days of the exhibition, visitors to the RTU MIREA demonstration stand were able to learn more detailed information about the university: admission rules, specifics of admission of foreign citizens, a list of educational programs in various areas for which foreign citizens are admitted, deadlines for filing documents, as well as the possibility of training citizens of Uzbekistan not only at contractual, but also on a budgetary basis, also within the framework of the quota for the education of foreign citizens and stateless persons in the Russian Federation, established by the Government of the Russian Federation.
In addition, representatives of RTU MIREA met with the directors of secondary schools in Samarkand, Bukhara and Urgench within the framework of the round table discussion and studied the prospects for further cooperation in education in order to promote the RTU MIREA brand in the educational market of Uzbekistan, and also held field presentation events in five secondary schools in Bukhara. Negotiations were held with a representative of a specialized academic lyceum at the branch of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas named after I.M. Gubkin in Tashkent with the intention of signing an agreement on cooperation in the field of education.
