Institute of Management Technologies Hosts 6th International Theoretical and Practical Conference “Development of Legal Systems in Russia and Abroad: Problems of Theory and Practice”

On March 3, the RTU MIREA Institute of Management Technologies hosted the 6th International Theoretical and Practical Conference, “Development of Legal Systems in Russia and Abroad: Problems of Theory and Practice,” organized by the State and Legal Studies Department.

Participants included representatives from the Peter the Great Military Academy of Strategic Missile Forces, Plekhanov University of Economics, Institute of Social Sciences, All-Russian State University of Justice (RLA under the Ministry of Justice of Russia), O.E. Kutafin University (MSLA), Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, legal communities from Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, and Vietnam, as well as faculty from the IMT State and Legal Studies Department.

The conference featured presentations addressing a wide range of theoretical and practical legal topics, reflecting diverse approaches, sources, and research methods. Speakers discussed current issues in legal regulation in Russia and abroad, analyzing legislation and judicial practices in Russia and selected foreign countries. The discussions identified key challenges in legal studies and law enforcement and proposed recommendations for refining legislation.
