International students of the Institute of International Education of RTU MIREA visited the Exhibition of Achievements of the National Economy

The Pre-university Training Department for Foreign Citizens of the Institute of International Education, RTU MIREA, in its work with foreign students, pays an important role to activities aimed at the adaptation of foreign nationals to a new socio-cultural environment. Training and study tours are constantly organized, as well as other cultural events within the walls of the University and beyond.

So, in early April, students of the Pre-university Training Department for Foreign Citizens of the Institute of International Education went on a sightseeing tour of the Exhibition of Achievements of the National Economy (VDNKh), and also visited the VDNKh Museum and Moscow Model pavilions.

Foreign visitors observed with great interest the interactive installations, mock-ups and authentic objects of material culture presented at the VDNKh Museum, learned who and why created the Exhibition of Achievements of the National Economy, learnt who were its visitors, and what ideas emerged at different stages of its development.

International students were greatly impressed by the layout of the capital, the main distinguishing feature of which is the amazing detailing of the buildings and the most accurate reproduction of elements of the landscape architecture. On an area of 429 sq. meters on a scale of 1:400 there are 23,000 objects. An interactive full-color layout lighting system allows to recreate the natural (day or night) lighting of the city with the ability to simulate the movement of the sun, clouds and other natural phenomena.
