Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation: from February 8, universities return to the traditional format of education

The Order was signed by Valery Falkov, Head of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science.

The document instructs heads of universities under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation to resume training in the traditional format; the decision was taken with the account of the opinion of student councils and in agreement with the territorial bodies of Rospotrebnadzor (Russian Consumer Protection Agency), as well as the specifics of the prevalence of coronavirus infection in a particular region.

At the same time, universities need to take preventive measures recommended for compliance with Rospotrebnadzor, namely, to: create conditions for hygienic treatment of hands with antiseptic agents, ensure contactless body temperature control of all persons belonging to the organization, observance of the mask regime and social distancing, airing classrooms during the breaks. Persons with signs of infectious diseases shall not be admitted to the premises of the University.
