Rector of RTU MIREA took part in the project session dedicated to the launch of the Sprint UP project

On November 13, at 10 a.m., a live project session dedicated to the launch of the Sprint UP project was held.

The project session was attended by Alexey Fursin, Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of the City of Moscow, Alexander Bugaev, Head of Rosmolodezh (Youth of Russia), Alexey Komissarov, General Director of  Russia – the Land of Opportunities Autonomous Non-commercial Organization, Mikhail Alashkevich, Senior Vice President of VEB.RF (ex-Vnesheconombank), Stanislav Kudzh, Rector of RTU MIREA, and rectors of other leading Moscow universities. 

On November 16, 2020, the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of the city of Moscow is launching Sprint UP educational project on entrepreneurship for young people.

Training will be organized online; within the framework of the program it is planned to train four streams of students: the training of each new stream will begin every week on Mondays for four weeks on. The stream will include up to 2.5 thousand people. 

During the training course, the participants will
• come to understand their professional interests and realize their entrepreneurial potential to the full;
• launch their own business project;
• create their own personal brand;
• develop hard and soft skills;
• find a team of like-minded people to develop their business;
• meet successful entrepreneurs and top managers of large companies;
• win lots of useful prizes.

The results of the participants of the educational course, and the degree of participation of universities in various entrepreneurial events of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of the City of Moscow will be essential for forming the basis for the rating of the universities’ entrepreneurial activity. This rating will help to assess the potential of intra-university entrepreneurial programs and form the mechanisms for the support of start-up businessmen.
