Rector's words of congratulations on Cosmonautics Day

Dear students, teachers, employees!

Please accept my most sincere congratulations on Cosmonautics Day!

This holiday is important not only for our country, but for the whole world, and for RTU MIREA it is of particular significance, because for many years our University has made a feasible contribution to the development of Russian cosmonautics.

The activities of many university departments are inextricably linked with the history of space exploration. Our scientists are working on solving a number of scientific and practical problems for space exploration. University engineers implement projects in the field of design and use of specialized equipment. University graduates work at leading enterprises that create space technology, instruments and equipment.

To implement projects on space exploration and train students in the relevant areas, RTU MIREA is actively developing a modern infrastructure. A significant event for the University was the opening of the Educational and Research Center for Space Monitoring (Cosmocenter), where advanced research is now being carried out in space radio monitoring.

On this significant day, I want to wish you to set ambitious goals for yourself, because even space is conquered by the brave! I wish you strength, inspiration, successful development of scientific heights!
