China's largest education exhibition, China Education Expo, took place in Beijing. On an area of 5,500 square meters there are 15 national pavilions and the representatives of more than 350 universities. RTU MIREA was represented at the exhibition by I.S. Solunova, Deputy First Vice-Rector. The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation organized a joint exposition of 27 universities and 12 Russian-Chinese associations of industry universities. The Russian pavilion became the largest at the 2023 exhibition; the delegation of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science included more than 100 people. During the exhibition, the Russian pavilion was visited by Liu Limin, President of the Chinese Association for International Educational Exchanges under the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, former Deputy Minister of Education of China, who greeted the Russian participants and wished them successful work. On the eve of the exhibition opening, Rossotrudnichestvo held a workshop “Specifics of working in the Chinese education market”, during which issues of further promotion of Russian education in China, interaction between Rossotrudnichestvo and Russian universities, as well as the specific features of the quota campaign in the current academic year were discussed. The events of the business program of the Russian delegation were attended by the head of the Russian Cultural Center in Beijing T.B. Urzhumtseva and the first secretary of the Embassy of the Russian Federation, representative of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science in the PRC I.A. Pozdnyakov. During the visit to the People's Republic of China, Deputy First Vice-Rector of RTU MIREA I.S. Solunova also took part in a conference dedicated to the prospects of Russian-Chinese innovative cooperation in the field of higher technical education, which took place in Nanjing. The event was organized by Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute.
