Representatives of MIREA – Russian Technological University took part in the IX International Exhibition-Fair “Russian Education: Tajikistan-2021”

The employees of the Institute of International Education and the International Relations Department of MIREA – Russian Technological University participated in the IX International Exhibition-Fair Russian Education: Tajikistan-2021 held from 19 to 22 May 2021 in Dushanbe and Khujand. The event was organized by the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Tajikistan together with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan with the support of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. 

The opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by Imomzoda Muhammadyusuf Saydali, Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan and Kodirzoda Dilovar Bakhriddin, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, Igor Semyonovich Lyakin-Frolov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Tajikistan, Khojazoda Tohir Abdullo, Rector of RTSU, Ivanov Ivan Sergeevich, Head of the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Tajikistan, and his Deputy, Pavel Anatolyevich Shevtsov.

This year, more than 26 educational organizations of Russia sent their representatives along with MIREA – Russian Technological University to the fair in Tadjikistan.

At the event, visitors were able to familiarize themselves with higher educational institutions of Russia, learn about the terms of admission, training, internships, programs for foreign students, living conditions, leisure opportunities, and scholarships. When visiting the exhibition, everyone was able to find something to his or her liking, choose the university and the department depending on the specific area of interest, get advice directly from the representatives of universities.

The RTU MIREA stand attracted more than 1,000 applicants interested in undergraduate and graduate programs in information and computer technology, electronics, radio engineering, robotics, cybernetics, chemistry, biotechnology, etc.

Everyone was able to personally communicate with E.N. Tarasova, Head of the Department of Russian as a foreign language of the Institute of International Education, I.Yu. Burtseva, Head of the Department for work with foreign students of the International Relations Department, ask questions that interested them and get all the necessary information about the admission rules, programs and areas of study. 

About 200 applicants were able to assess their opportunities for admission to MIREA – Russian Technological University, having passed trial testing in major subjects.

Also, representatives of our University held a number of outdoor presentation events for schoolchildren in Dushanbe and Khujand.
