Representatives of RTU MIREA participated the WasteTech-2019 Forum

Between June 4 and 6, representatives of MIREA – Russian Technological University participated in the exhibition event of the International Forum on Waste Management, Environmental Protection Technologies and Renewable Energy "WasteTech-2019". This was made possible thanks to the invitation of Mr. Lu Hung-Tu, Honorary Professor of the Physics and Technology Institute, President of the NANOPLUS TECH company (Taiwan).
The University was represented by A.S. Sigov, President of the RTU MIREA, Academician of the RAS, A.V. Ragutkin, Vice-Rector for Innovative Development, V.S. Kondratenko, Advisor of the University Administration and A.S. Naumov, his doctoral student, and A.Y. Rogov, Deputy Director of the Institute of Physics and Technology.
Mr. Lu Hung-Tu, President of NANOPLUS TECH, informed all those present about the advantages of innovative technologies in the field of environmental protection on display at the exhibition and emphasized that they are successfully introduced in industrial enterprises of China and Taiwan.

A.V. Ragutkin presented a gift to Mr. Lu Hung-Tu. In the course of further negotiations agreements were reached to accelerate international technology transfer between RTU MIREA and NANOPLUS TECH.
At the company’s exhibition stand meetings and negotiations were held with representatives of the Taiwan Environmental Engineering Association, whose members are Chairmen of the Boards of major Taiwan companies, leading environmental businesses, and environmental protection scholars of three leading Taiwan universities, as well as other high-tech companies that expressed their interest in cooperation with our University.
