Employees of the Department of International Relations and the Institute of International Education of RTU MIREA took part in the exhibition of educational organizations of the Russian Federation in Bishkek – “Education in Russia - 2023-2024” organized by the Moscow Classics Public Foundation with the support of the Rossotrudnichestvo office in Kyrgyzstan, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, Department of Education of the Mayor's Office in Bishkek, and the Russian-Kyrgyz Consortium of Technical Universities.
The event, which launched the Week of Russian Education, was held from September 21 to 27 at the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov. 32 universities from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Khabarovsk, Yekaterinburg, Krasnodar, Rostov-on-Don, Barnaul, Omsk, Saransk and other Russian cities presented their educational programs. RTU MIREA was represented by I.Yu. Burtseva, Acting Head of the International Relations Department, O.A. Golota, Inspector of the Department of International Relations, E.A. Slezkina, Deputy Director of the Institute of International Education, and I.V. Egoeva, Head of the Educational Department of the Institute of International Education
The stand of RTU MIREA was visited by more than 2,000 applicants interested in undergraduate and graduate programs in information and computer technology, electronics, radio engineering, robotics, cybernetics, chemistry, biotechnology, etc. There were many questions about bilateral research and educational programs between RTU MIREA and universities in Kyrgyzstan. Everyone was able to personally communicate with representatives of the University, ask questions and get all the necessary information about the admission rules, programs and areas of study. The consultations were dynamic, schoolchildren demonstrated genuine interest in studying in Russia and specifically at our University. Therefore, constructive and lively communication developed.
Also, representatives of RTU MIREA and other Russian universities held on-site presentation events for schoolchildren in Shopokovo, Kara-Balta, Tokmak, and Kant.
