Representatives of RTU MIREA took part in the international forum Modeling the processes of stamping, rolling and pressing in QForm

On September 28, the Department of Digital and Additive Technologies represented by Associate Professor Alexei Alexandrovich Myshechkin and laboratory assistant Sergei Vasilievich Skripnik visited the international forum Modeling the processes of stamping, rolling and pressing in QForm.

QForm 3D is a software package for modeling and optimization of metal forming processes by pressure. This domestic software is used in 51 countries of the world and has been on the market since 1991. Modern versions help to solve a large number of complex problems both in the laboratory and in production.

Several dozen presentations were heard at the forum. The staff of the department took an active part in discussing the issues associated with the forging processes. This forum is a convenient platform for specialists working in areas related to metal forming processes.
