RTU MIREA became an active participant of the NAUKA 0+ Science Festival

On October 9-10, the Science Festival NAUKA 0+ was held for the 17th time in Moscow.

This is one of the largest popular science projects in the world, which this year is held in conformity with the goals of the Year of Science and Technology. The organizers of the festival are the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Government of Moscow, Lomonosov Moscow State University and the RAS.

Lecture tracks and the interactive exhibition fully reflected the issues to be discussed at the Year of Science and Technology events: new medicine, space exploration, climate and ecology, genetics and the quality of life, artificial intelligence, man and society.

Traditionally, RTU MIREA has taken part in this event. This year, representatives of various research institutions, laboratories, universities, and students worked with interactive programs within the framework of the Science Festival on the territory of the Expocentre, specifically:

  • Representatives of the Radiolab student research and educational laboratory (Institute of Radio Engineering and Telecommunication Systems) worked with devices made “from scratch” and assembled by the students;
  • Representatives of the Institute of Information Technologies demonstrated the robot dog and other programs relating to VR;
  • Students of the student research society of Lomonosov Institute of Fine Chemical Technologies conducted and demonstrated various chemical experiments for the visitors of the event.
