RTU MIREA hosted an extended meeting of the Presidium of the Council of Rectors of Moscow and Moscow Region universities

On October 20, an extended meeting of the Presidium of the Council of Rectors of Universities of Moscow and Moscow Region was held at MIREA – Russian Technological University.

The main item on the agenda was personnel training for the military and industrial complex (MIC) of Russia.

The meeting was chaired by Nikolai Nikolayevich Kudryavtsev, Chairman of the Council of Rectors of Universities in Moscow and Moscow Region, President of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.

Stanislav Alekseevich Kudzh, Rector of RTU MIREA, made a presentation on the best practices of RTU MIREA in training personnel for the defense industry, spoke about the problems and ways to solve them, emphasized the importance of target-oriented training for defense enterprises.

Anatoly Aleksandrovich Aleksandrov, President of Bauman Moscow State Technical University, noted in his speech that training specialists at the university departments should become more attractive for applicants, proposed measures of state support for universities that currently specialize in training personnel for the defense industry.

Ivan Vasilyevich Lobanov, Rector of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, in his presentation spoke about the work of the commission on international activities, the organization of international research and educational and methodological cooperation in current conditions.
