RTU MIREA participated in China Education Expo – the largest education exhibition in China

From November 1 to 2, the largest education exhibition in China, China Education Expo (CEE), was held in Beijing. In 2024, 380 educational organizations from 38 countries and regions of the world took part in the CEE exhibition, 18 countries presented national pavilions. Irina Solunova, Deputy First Vice-Rector, took part in the exhibition on behalf of RTU MIREA.

The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation organized a joint exposition of 19 leading universities and 10 Russian-Chinese associations of industry universities. The Russian pavilion became the largest at the 2024 exhibition, the delegation of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia had more than 80 people. During the exhibition, the President of the China Association for International Educational Exchanges under the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China Liu Limin visited the Russian pavilion, he welcomed the Russian participants and wished them success in their work.

On the eve of the exhibition opening, Rossotrudnichestvo held a working seminar "Specifics of Work in the Chinese Education Market", during which issues of further promotion of Russian education in China, interaction between Rossotrudnichestvo and Russian universities, as well as the terms of the quota campaign in the current academic year were discussed.

The events of the business program of the Russian delegation were attended by T.B. Urzhumtseva, head of the Russian Cultural Center in Beijing, and I.A. Pozdnyakov, adviser to the Embassy of the Russian Federation on education affairs, the representative of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia in the PRC.

As part of the visit to the People's Republic of China, Irina Solunova, Deputy First Vice-Rector of RTU MIREA, also took part in the First Russian-Chinese Forum of Private Educational Institutions "Culture of Education", dedicated to the prospects of Russian-Chinese innovative cooperation in higher education.
