Representatives of RTU MIREA - E.A. Slezkina, Deputy Director of the Institute of International Education, and Sh.V.Kh. Klyatsyn, Inspector of the Department for Work with Foreign Students of the International Relations Department, - took part in the educational exhibition "Education in Russia. Your Key to Success", which was held in the House of Moscow in Minsk.
The Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo (Federal Agency for Affairs of the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Residing Abroad and International Humanitarian Co-Operation) in the Republic of Belarus for the first time organized an exhibition for Belarusian applicants considering the possibility to obtain prestigious higher education in the Russian Federation on a budgetary basis within the quota program of the Government of the Russian Federation. The event started on October 7. 1,300 places out of 30 thousand that are allocated to the young people all over the world are allocated to the Republic of Belarus, and this is the largest country quota.
During the opening ceremony of the exhibition, Yuri Anatolyevich Makushin, head of the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of Belarus, noted that 16 Russian metropolitan and regional universities of various profiles, from technical to humanitarian, are participating in the exhibition. Sergey Viktorovich Sedykh, Senior Advisor of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Belarus, drew attention to the fact that the Belarusians and Russians enter universities of the Russian Federation on the same terms, since the results of Belarusian centralized examinations and tests are fully recognized in Russia.
Throughout the exhibition, visitors to RTU MIREA stand were able to ask questions of interest and receive all the necessary information about the admission rules, popular areas of training, learn about the advantages of the university, the conditions of study, and accommodation.
