Expanding cooperation with Chinese universities remains a top priority in RTU MIREA’s international activities. Delegations from two of China’s top institutions – Anhui University and Xiangtan University – visited RTU MIREA to explore the establishment of new partnerships.
During their visit, RTU MIREA President Alexander Sergeyevich Sigov welcomed the delegations and introduced them to the university’s history, educational programs, and core activities. In turn, the Chinese representatives presented their own academic offerings and scientific achievements.
The meeting provided a platform to discuss prospects for collaboration, including joint research projects and academic exchange programs for both students and faculty. President Sigov emphasized that such meetings strengthen friendly relations and create opportunities for the exchange of experience, as well as the development of new research initiatives for students and instructors. He also reaffirmed RTU MIREA’s commitment to open cooperation and knowledge sharing with universities and colleges worldwide.
The official part of the visit concluded with an exchange of memorable gifts and the signing of a memorandum of intent to continue cooperation.
Following the meeting, the Chinese guests enjoyed a guided tour of the university’s educational and research centers and laboratories, including the Institute of Information Technologies and the Institute of Artificial Intelligence. Aleksei Mikhailovich Romanov and Andrei Sergeyevich Zuyev showcased their institutes’ latest developments and shared achievements in both educational practices and applied research, which captured the visitors’ keen interest.
Collaboration with Chinese partners is expected to continue expanding, bringing significant benefits to both sides.
