RTU MIREA took part in the International Exhibition-Fair Russian Education. Tashkent-2021 held in the Republic of Uzbekistan


Between October 5 and 7, representatives of RTU MIREA – I.S. Solunova, Deputy First Vice-Rector, and E.A. Slyozkina, Deputy Director of the Institute of International Education, participated in the International Exhibition-Fair Russian Education. Tashkent-2021 that was held at the site of Tashkent State Economic University.

The exhibition was organized by the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo (Federal Agency for Affairs of the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Residing Abroad and International Humanitarian Co-Operation) in Uzbekistan, with the support of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education and the Ministry of Public Education of Uzbekistan and the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Uzbekistan. 32 metropolitan and regional universities of Russia took part in the exhibition-fair. Within the span of three days, the event was attended by over five thousand schoolchildren from Tashkent and Tashkent region.

High school students and their parents could personally talk to the representatives of RTU MIREA, get familiarized with the educational programs of the University, learn about the possibilities for admission to the University within the Rossotrudnichestvo quota, and the admission rules and deadlines for submitting documents. The applicants and schoolchildren were also informed about the most popular areas of study at the University.

Moreover, the employees of RTU MIREA visited a number of secondary schools in the city of Tashkent where they made presentations about educational programs and opportunities for training foreign citizens at the University; they also met with representatives of Tashkent Chemical-Technological Institute, a partner university of RTU MIREA, with whom they discussed the development of joint educational programs, academic exchange programs and other opportunities for enhancing cooperation between the universities.
