From March 24 to March 25, representatives of RTU MIREA – Deputy Director of the Institute of International Education E.A. Slezkina and a Mongolian 2nd year master's student Gerelt-Od Mungunsuvd took part in the IX Russian educational exhibition “Study in Russia-2023”, which was held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Universities from Moscow, Vladivostok and Voronezh took part in the exhibition. The number of applicants who came to the exhibition and planned to continue their studies in Russia totaled more than 500 people.
For two days, visitors to the RTU MIREA booth were able to get acquainted with detailed information about the university: admission rules, features of admission of foreign citizens, a list of training areas for which foreign citizens are admitted, deadlines for submitting documents, as well as the possibility of training Mongolian citizens not only on a contractual basis, but also on a budgetary basis within the framework of the quota for the education of foreign citizens and stateless persons in the Russian Federation, established by the Government of the Russian Federation.
As part of the trip on March 24, E.A. Slezkina, Deputy Director of the Institute of International Education, held a meeting with the Director of the Mongolian-Russian school No. 3 Zh. Soronzon, at which memoranda of intention were signed on cooperation in the sphere of education.
The trip ended with a meeting at the Russian House in Ulaanbaatar with V.V. Kilpyakova, acting head of the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Mongolia where issues of cooperation aimed at popularizing the Russian language and culture were also discussed.
